Since the opening in 1954, the Perminalen Hotel has worked in close collaboration with the Norwegian Army. Many Norwegian soldiers and officers have stayed in our hotel for shorter or longer periods of time during the last 47 years.

At first, the hotel was located by Frogner Gård. It was later moved to Nedre Vollgate, before it eventually relocated to Øvre Slottsgate 2 where it is to be found today.
